Yang Sheng: transition into winter with the ancient Chinese philosophy of nurturing life

Yang Sheng (nurturing life) is the ancient Chinese philosophy of achieving wellness and longevity through simple lifestyle techniques. These techniques have been tried and tested for millennia, and are perhaps even more necessary and relevant today. These include food, movement, mindfulness, and the utilisation of holistic therapies such as acupuncture. In this workshop, Sarah will share wisdom on the importance of living in harmony with the seasons through an understanding of the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. There will be a special focus on nurturing our Metal and Water elements, as we move into winter. Transition into this period of hibernation and recuperation with tailored Qi Gong (Vital Energy cultivation) routines, acupoint self-care massage, and daily dietary and lifestyle tips.  www.sarahhaddongrant.com
